"East
Meets West Project" brings together musicians from distant
locations working in real time using the internet and digital
audio recording technology. In this pioneer experimental project,
a collaboration between musicians from China and musicians from
the East Midlands will compose a new piece of music online in
real-time on Chinese New Year's Day (12th February 2002).
